Lesson
Statistics is the study of collecting, organising, analysing, and interpreting data. Data can be classified into two major types: ungrouped data (individual observations) and grouped data (data arranged into class intervals). Ungrouped data is simple but becomes difficult to analyse when the number of observations is large. Grouped data summarises the information into intervals, making it easier to identify trends.
Learning objectives
Understand histograms and data interpretation in the Statistics chapter.
Connect the idea with formulas, examples, and exam-style questions.
Use flashcards, notes, MCQs, and LAQs to check readiness.
