Lesson
Reflection is a geometric transformation that creates a mirror image of a shape or point across a specific line called the line of reflection. When a figure is reflected, it flips over the line, producing an image that is reversed but congruent to the original. The shape, size, and orientation relative to the line remain unchanged, although the left–right direction switches.
Learning objectives
Understand line of reflection and symmetry in the Reflection chapter.
Connect the idea with formulas, examples, and exam-style questions.
Use flashcards, notes, MCQs, and LAQs to check readiness.
