Lesson
The nth term of an AP is given by a + (n − 1)d, where a is the first term, d is the common difference, and n is the term number. This formula allows you to find any term in the sequence without writing all previous terms. For example, the 20th term of an AP with a = 2 and d = 3 is 2 + 19 × 3 = 59.
Learning objectives
