Lesson
Trigonometry studies the relationship between angles and sides of right-angled triangles. The three primary trigonometric ratios—sine, cosine, and tangent—compare different pairs of sides. These ratios allow us to calculate unknown heights, distances, and angles using only one known angle. Understanding how these ratios are formed gives students the foundation to approach real-world measurement problems.
Learning objectives
Understand trigonometric ratios in the Trigonometry chapter.
Connect the idea with formulas, examples, and exam-style questions.
Use flashcards, notes, MCQs, and LAQs to check readiness.
