Lesson
Two figures are said to be similar if they have the same shape but may differ in size. This means that their corresponding angles are equal and their corresponding sides are in proportion. For example, two triangles drawn with different sizes but the same angle measures are similar. Similar figures appear frequently in real life, such as enlarged images, models, maps, and architectural designs.
