Lesson
The sample space is the set of all possible outcomes of an experiment—for example, {H, T} for a coin toss or {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6} for a dice roll. An event is a subset of the sample space, such as getting an even number or rolling a 3. Events can consist of one or multiple outcomes.
