Lesson
The most basic method of factorization is taking out the Highest Common Factor (HCF) from each term. For example, in 6x² + 3x, the common factor is 3x, so the expression becomes 3x(2x + 1). This method simplifies expressions and often leads to further factorization.
Learning objectives
Understand common factor method in the Factorization chapter.
Connect the idea with formulas, examples, and exam-style questions.
Use flashcards, notes, MCQs, and LAQs to check readiness.
